Terms of Service
Effective October 31, 2026
These terms are between you and Mikhail Ivashchenko, an individual entrepreneur registered in the Republic of Armenia (“we”), who runs uCAD at ucad.app. By using uCAD you agree to them. Questions: master@ucad.app.
The service
uCAD is a 2D/3D drawing tool that runs in your browser. Drawing, importing and exporting are free and need no account. With an account your drawings are also kept online, and you can use the AI assistant, which draws and changes things when you ask; it comes with a free allowance, and a subscription gives you more.
Your account
- Give a real email address you can read, and keep your password to yourself. You're responsible for what's done with your account.
- One account per person. Don't share it or resell access to it.
- You must be at least 16 to have an account.
Your drawings
What you draw is yours. Your drawings stay in your browser and on your computer and, once you're signed in, in your account (there's a limit to how much an account keeps: Open shows it). Keep your own copy of anything that matters (Save makes a file): we look after what's kept, but can't promise it will never be lost. When you use the assistant, the parts of a drawing it needs go to the AI provider to do what you asked (see the Privacy Policy). You give us only the rights needed to do that.
The AI assistant
- The assistant can be wrong: it may misread a request or get sizes wrong. Check what it made before you rely on it — especially before anything is built, cut, printed or sold from a drawing.
- Each account has a monthly allowance of assistant use, shown in the app. When it's used up, the assistant stops until the next month (or until you subscribe). Unused allowance doesn't carry over. We may change the allowances; a change to a paid plan applies from your next billing period.
- Use it for drawing in uCAD. Don't use it to get around its limits, to reach the models for other purposes, or to make anything unlawful.
- If you use your own API key, your use of that provider is between you and it, under its terms, and it bills you directly.
Subscriptions and payment
- Subscriptions are sold by Lemon Squeezy, our merchant of record, which takes the payment and handles invoices and taxes. Prices are shown at checkout.
- A subscription renews automatically each period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the subscription link in the app (or ask us); it then runs until the end of the period you've paid for.
- Refunds: if the assistant didn't work for you, write to us within 14 days of a charge and we'll refund it. After that, payments for periods already started aren't refunded, except where the law says otherwise.
What not to do
Don't break or overload the service, try to get into other people's accounts or our servers, scrape it, or use it to break the law or anyone's rights. We may suspend or close an account that does — if the account is paid and we close it without good reason, we refund the unused part.
Changes and availability
uCAD is a young product and keeps changing: features may change, move or go away. We try to keep it running, but can't promise it will always be available or free of bugs. Keep copies of drawings that matter to you (Save writes them to your computer).
Liability
uCAD is provided “as is”. As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or lost profits, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer.
Ending
You can stop using uCAD at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may end these terms for an account that breaks them, telling you why.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia. If you're a consumer, you also keep the protection of the laws of the country where you live.
Changes to these terms
If we change these terms, the new version will be here with a new date; significant changes we'll announce by email to account holders before they apply. Using uCAD after that means you accept the new version.
